The Little River stocking volunteers meet at the DuPont State Forest, Hooker Falls parking lot at 9:30 A.M. The hatchery truck usually arrives at 9:45 A.M. When you get to Dupont Forest, follow DuPont Forest Road for several miles until you see the Hooker Falls parking lot sign which will be on the right, just before crossing over the Little River Bridge. Wear clothing that you don't mind getting a little wet and it is best to bring along  a pair of gloves. We should have enough buckets, However, if you have some 5 gallon buckets with lids, please bring them with you. We don't go into the Little River, but stock from it's banks. The stocking takes approximately 2 hours and those who want, go to lunch afterwards.

We need no more than seven individuals each time we conduct the stocking. We are limited in size due to access to the remote stocking areas in DuPont State Forest. We always need a vehicle that is able to transport our volunteers on the dirt roads within the forest. We have a great time and enjoy the beauty of DuPont State Forest.

Contact Jack Soyak if you want to volunteer for the stocking crew and to get the latest information as the schedule is subject to change due to weather and other considerations.
